I got to level 5, then got frustrated and quit.

after you lose, right-click then click on play and you will get to the next level. there are 20 levels, when you beat the last level it says 'congratulations! you have sucessfully completed the game' ..

I got to level 7 then gave up.

What about that games determines how good of a games designer you would be?

Yeah, I beat it. Now I can't use my mouse correctly, I keep going backwards everywhere.
