I would guess that most of us do not take for it to have any merit, as I myself do not.

Take a vote and state your perspective on this.

Should astrology be regarded as of having any value?

I would put as much stock in at as I would that my friend wouldn't eat a piece of chocolate dangled in front of her (i.e. not much), because the meanings given to such tiny things are so broad that it might could describe nearly anyone.

astrology, being dependent upon star charts, which are usually the same no matter who looks at them, seems like it could work (assuming stars really had power over "energies" depending on their positions). But the descriptions of what it means to have (deep voice) "venus retrograde in the first house of aquarius, conjunct pluto with scorpio moon and chiron in the seventh house blah blah" seems so varied between astrologers that they might as well be monkeys hitting keyboards.

yeah and astrology (sorry my first post referred to horiscopes) is crap too. i've read all about it, and they really go overboard.. anyone can be like that.. I'm a Leo, and sure they shower you with compliments to lure you in and then you really begin to believe it. hah. i mean, it's a nice way to waste an afternoon i suppose, but really not worth anything.

I voted Yes. But only because of (highly) coicidentally noticing striking similarites to lines of thinking I have at the moment that I come across a horoscope. So the value here is entirely subjective, that I make it into something meaningful. Though I retain enough reservation, don't be afraid. I just like to see value and lay connections in anything, without them having any decisive meaning. If it only can enter a theory :)
