Who had the best post in this thread (http://forums.intpcentral.com/showthread.php?t=21229)? In my opinion, airjaw did (http://forums.intpcentral.com/showpost.php?p=615748&postcount=29).

That thread might've become a classic.
Anytime Seawolf lectures on humor... wow, just excellent stuff.

The below quote by Seawolf, on the provision that we add the highlighted bits and removed the bracketed bits. :)
My words dont have any meaning so just get over them. I can easily change their conventional meaning or invent some new ones, its fine as long as the other person doesn't ask what I am saying, it doesnt make sense [to cling to the old-fashioned definitions, they], my posts inhibit the mobility of the exploration of ideas. Its difficult enough as it is to [explain many things in words we dont need to] understand my posts, however I make it [any] more difficult by making our language even more rigid than it was meant to be.

Pardon the minor editing. Yet again you can study Popper's epistemology for more on that.
1)Conjectures and Refutation
2)Logic of Scientific Discovery

Why should he? It doesn't seem to have helped you one iota. In short, your recommendation isn't very convincing.

All of that Fe gives Seawolf a great sense of irony...

one more thing...if one of us changes our avatar, then airjaw's post is rendered irrelevant. Doesn't a "classic" have to be timeless, it's worth not subject to the changing of the seasons, etc.?

I airjaw and MacG were funny as hell. Seawolf's dissection of said humor was funny in it's own way.
I laughed anyway.

I have no idea what Prothero's post was but since nothing in that thread seemed special enough to vote for in a lame poll, and since he voted for me, there you go.

I know I should vote for demagogic, but . . .
but, unlike Hustler, my contrary nature isn't an act. I don't play devil's advocate. I AM devil's advocate. Plus I look better in a skirt
. . . even if it came from another thread, it's enough to sway my vote.
