bring your passport if you have it, if not bring a drivers liscence and your birth certificate. You should get accross fine for now, but I hear they're trying to tighten it up; they're just pushing the date back alot since they've found out how much of a logistical nightmare this has created for both governments.

That might work, basically one needs to show that you are legal citizen, and the other has to be a legaly recognized photo ID. No I did not copy that from anything official, it's just my interpretation of the current rules.

This thing was a nightmare when they introduced the passport required to get into the US for Canadians....Passport offices where lined up out the door....
Passports are required if you fly - my brother learned that one the hard way.
I think you can still get away with another form or 2 of ID if you're driving across. Might want to contact the border patrol office you'll be crossing at to make sure.

Yeah, and bobas mean boobs in Taiwanese. It's a beverage that endorses breasts. You're a presumably straight man who's not into "breasts tea". Which usually comes with fruit, sugar and whipped cream. You just think about that, and maybe consider which one of us is tainted.

This is such a fitting representation of the INTP philosophy: design a kickass meetup promising food, entertainment, and good conversation whilst never actually getting around to doing it.

I've been wanting to go to Canada for some time now. Especially considering that I might emigrate to there in the future. If it happened during my summer break, the only reason that I wouldn't be able to go is the cost, but otherwise, this would be an interesting trip.

I don't know where you live, so I suppose I can't account for the price of the air fare, but Vancouver has some really good youth and backpackers' hostels located right downtown.

I hear the train ride up the coast to Seattle is really nice. Probably costs what a flight does.
I have a cousin in law that flies in the US all the time. International flights cost a fortune, so she takes a bus down to Seattle and then can fly anywhere in the US for pretty cheap.

I had some friends go up to Vancouver one year and stay in a hostel. They said that there were a lot of homeless people there, at least at night. During the day, they hardly saw any and concluded that, like something out of a fairy tale, the homeless people turned into bags of trash during the day. Oh Canada!

There's paddlewheeler pub in new west. It's the kinda place that sells grub and booze - nothing posh - which is just how I like it. We can meet at new west station and walk there, it's maybe a five minute walk or so. There's also a sushi place right above it - top gun sushi. I've only been there once, but it was okay so far as I can remember.
On friday evenings there's a live band playing at paddlewheeler - something that's best avoided IMO. I think it should be okay if it's during the day, but then if the emphasis is on lunch rather than boozing it up then the sushi place would probably be a better choice. If you wanna booze it up, then thursday night is better since it'd be after my job. Take your pick.
