Very close one for me. Office space wins by a nose, only because I can relate the ludicrosity of my own life to it.

They're just about the same to me. So I voted Big Trouble in Little China, as it has the seniority.

Hmm. Two dissimilar opponents here, both funny. I went with Big Trouble in Little China for these reasons:
1. The outlandishness of the plot is a plus. I'm a sucker for characters that take extreme weirdness for granted. Also, Office Space is a little too close to home for me.
2. It was intended to be the sequel to The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension, so it gets bonus points for the association.

Big trouble in little china I've watched a few times and after this thread, I may even watch it tonight. Office space was good but I have no great desire to see it again.
Plus we used to run around with washing baskets upside down on our heads playing "Big trouble in little china" as kids. Who the f@#$ plays "being a computer programmer" as a kid?

Or perhaps a six demon bag clip (http://youtube.com/watch?v=CCPGmE000WA). It's all about the positive attitude, you know.

"How did you get up there?" - "Wasn't easy!"
and
"God, aren't you even gonna kiss her goodbye?" - "Nope"
did it for me. Big Trouble in Little China wins.

Office Space hands down, I actually caught it again on TV just a couple of weeks ago and was still laughing out-loud at Lumbergh and Milton.
It’s funny or sad that most of the characters are still kicking around offices even today.

As an aside, this (http://youtube.com/watch?v=Z_lNheQpA5k) is an amusing Office Space trailer, recut as a thriller.

Why am I reminded of Crow T. Robot? ;)
I'm going with Office Space, though I must say that the weird electricity magic stuff in Big Trouble got stuck in my head when I was a little kid as generically "cool."

I didn't know that.. All three movies are awesome.
Hustler's a bastard for knowingly bringing this hair splitting poll up in the first place and so I refuse to vote.

Office Space sucks donkey balls for entertainment value, regardless of how much relevance it may have to actual life. Big Trouble FTW.

I love Office Space, but I haven't seen Big Trouble in Little China. I think the sole reason I haven't seen it is because the cover of the movie reminds me of the cover of Escape from New York, and that movie reminds me of Escape from L.A., which I once stared dumbfounded at in a hotel room.

Office Space by a hair. This may be biased since I was just watching it for the nth time...
Big Trouble in Little China's flow is a bit choppy and the 80s synth music occasionally makes me wince even though it adds to the awesomeness of the cheese.

Big Trouble in Little China seems like a hipster movie to like/say you like all that much.
Office space had some great characters.

C.J. Woolf is a known hipster, so this 100% confirms your thinking on the matter.

I have a copy of Jack Burton's shirt and know 30% of BTILC lines. However I know approximately 65% of lines from OS.
I am going with Office Space and Michale Bolton FTW.

I got the info from Mutant Reviewers from Hell (http://mutantreviewers.com/rbigtrouble.html):
Intermission! [some sources: IMDb]
W.D. Richter, the director of Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension, had originally penned a script for the oft-wondered about but unfilmed sequel, "Buckaroo Banzai Against The World Crime League." When that project fell through due to production conflicts the script was retooled for John Carpenter and Kurt Russell and became "Big Trouble in Little China."
