Hey just found this website today after doing the myerrs briggs test, and I did four seperate tests and came up as INTP on three and INFP for one so i guess I am more INTP than INFP , though I have aspects of an INFP in my charecter but seem to more of an INTP with aspects of INFP.
So a little about me -
I am an 18 College student doing An IT course at the moment and hoping eventually to study philosophy and ethics at university in september , If I have a decent interview (fingers crossed). In terms of interests I am interested in philosophey, Reading, Films, music and some science but especially anything to do with space. I used to smoke weed and am pro legalisation but don't indulge anymore, I also like to drink alchol.
My faviote music genres are indie, electronic, rock but I listen to anything that sounds good to me
Anyway just introducing myself.

You sound INTP to me. Tests aren't concrete.

Yeh I found the simlair minds test earlier today, good way to waste a hour or so doing all the tests they have.
You sound INTP to me.
Yeh I did check against the personality traits and seem to match many of them apart form possibly being good at maths because I have always have trouble with maths from an early age.

I've never liked doing math at all. I'm pretty good at it for the most part, but I'm not able to focus on it well, and drift off. So I don't practice much.

Pink Floyd disagree with me.. not sure why.. they just do. I quite like the rest though.

I like old barret era floyd more than their newer stuff, as I prefer them when they were a little more pyschadelic but I still think dark side of the moon is an amazing album.

I actually haven't heard the pyschadelic stuff. Any recommendations?

Well the only album I have of the more pyschadelic side of pink floyd is the piper at the gates of dawn which is the album they made before syd barret left the band, The album is very good kind of a mixture between traditinal pop song structures and more weird sounds and guitar wig outs. The lyrics are also very pyschadelic and some sound like a stream of couciousness or a converstion in a simliar way to old blur songs like park life. If you can download the song "see emily play" and if you like that song you will like the piper at the gates of dawn.
I also think there is a collection of older pink floyd songs including see emily play and arnold layne and I believe one previously unrealsed song on an album which is called relics, but I don't have the album so I cant reccomend it.

Had a listen and it's too psychadelic. I can hear the Beatles and Blur in it though. 'There is no other day' - is a very Blur like line, possibly because of 'There is no other way'...

Yeh I think graham coxen is a big pink floyd fan, and early pink floyd I am quite sure was produced by a producer who produced a lot of the beatles material.
I am from the uk, and my favioute musicains are probably radiohead, the smiths, joy division, aphex twin, interpol , pink floyd and a few others.
Wow, Joy Division, that takes me back - I've still got the first vinyl LP they put out in 1980 ish (I think) that I bought in the UK on holiday, actually I saw them live there I think in '81. It's somewhere in my hoard in the basement (I'm a typical INTP hoarder and can't bare to get rid of anything I have a sentimental attachment to)

Yeh joy division are a good band, one of my favioutes actually, Just a shame about ian curtis killing himslef, kind of makes their records mean more in a way, as he really was feeling all that bad shit he writes about in his songs.
I am in envy that you got to of seen them live, I would have liked to but I was too young at the time, proably still only a baby.
Also I just did one of the more compelx jung tests on simliar minds to double check ifI am INTP , the test with 100 + questions these are my results
