i went to tannum state high school today to get information and it looks good. they gave me a package and shit well here are the subjects i will be studying, mostly humanities. English, Maths B, Multistrand Science, Legal Studies, Geography and Modern History. hopefully i will be able to get to do the short course on the australian constitution.

i have a meeting on thursday 1030 and i need to bring in my year eleven stuff from 2000, i hope i can find it by then.

i will keep you updated, goddamn it feels good to be going back to education.

Well, I guessed all of that  (we're *all* INTPs, too, you know ;) )

Besides, in January, celebrations are all to the good (It's winter, here, you know) And 8O this is cause for celebration, whatever time of year it is. :)

great stuff!

I'm currently doing last year of high-school myself. Was supposed to finish in 2002, but I dropped out (got bored, wanted to do something else). If I continued that year, I would've graduated with 2s (Es). Now I'm back, and I'm doing As and Bs without a problem! It rocks! :)

Would you please send me a copy of the Student Directory so I can warn all the girls? (And flirt.)

Be careful of the modern history. Word has it that there have been movements in Australia's past to make the study of history more "politically correct".

BTW - according to your profile you’re 21 years old. What the hell are you doing still in high school? I hope “High School” means “College” in Australia.

i am 21 and turning 22 in september. i quit year twelve in 2001 a few months in. i know all about the australian history being manipulated but we are doing international modern history and i know that easier. that and i have access to the australian national archives and membership with the american national archives so when i come to choosing race relations in either Australia, South Africa or United States i can use pure facts and not this emotive PC coverup bullshit.

i too was getting all e's d's and c's. this year i will get A's or A+'s. and no edmond you are not getting the student directory, all those children are immature. AND I GET TO GET INTO THE GIFTED PROGRAM WOOO HOOO. and debating :D

actually high school means high school, just as college means university

Good job Shai Gar! School is better after you've been away for awhile. New perspective.

Kind of reminds me of David Wooderson (Matthew McConaughey) from Dazed and Confused.

"I keep getting older and they stay the same age."

Or Billy Madison, whichever.

Yeah that would be kind of strange since all of the other kids will be 3 or 4 years younger. Actually, sounds really cool!

Just seems like you could finish high school credits at a junior college or something rather than physically going back to the high school itself.

Anyways, congrats - I'm sure you'll appreciate the education much more this time, as well as having some excellent contributions to stimulate those little punks' heads into doing some real thinking.

aye. stupidly although i have already done one subject there i now cannot continue untill the coming tuesday, stupid government. they have to find out if i have a criminal record first so that i do not molest the children, or teach them how to commit crimes, or be a bad role model.

i disagree with this for only 2 reasons, one is i will now be 3 days behind, another is i have commited many crimes but never even arrested or taken for questioning and thus i will be slinking under the system, and if i can who else has?

It's the strangest thing. When I was 18, I was as much attracted to 25-30 year old women as 16-20 year olds (And had a 25 yo girlfriend, actually). But in the past year or so, when I see a 17-19 year old girl who's just "made of sex," I nearly lose control of my mind and body. I still like the whole spectrum.

lucky bastard. i was always more interested in the 23-28 range myself, girls who are "made of sex" though i dont tend to be that into, i like quiet girls in libraries who are hot as hell
