ENTP? INFP?

I'd say INFP...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

It doesn't get more NF than that.

Drove from Paris to the Amsterdam Hilton,
Talking in our beds for a week.
The newspaper said, "Say what you doing in bed?"
I said, "We're only trying to get us some peace".

Trying to get alone time away from the world seems I??P to me.

Happiness is a Warm Gun, Nowhere Man and Tomorrow Never Knows

No doubt. She's probably a very cool chick and is clearly quite out there. But she's still got a mug that would make a funeral take an alley.

I am simply too deep for majority of people. I am a poet. I am a visionary. And I am also an artist. I am John Lennon

- John Lennon

NF completely. NTs don't say they are too 'deep' for the majority of people, they say they are too 'intellegent'. Important difference. ;)

Well, actually I made up that quote but the point is that he could have said it

Well, he was an arrogant dick notwithstanding.

The lesson here is: don't believe everything you read or you will look stupid.

What are you doing to protect YOUR intelligence?

I wrote a letter to the MD of Liverpool John Lennon Airport recently. They have a slogan cribbed from one of his songs 'above us only sky'.

I suggested that given the quality of people passing through the airport they should consider finishing the slogan off with 'below us only shits'.

If I had to guess his type, I would say ENFP.

A highly developed individual could probably appear to be any type. I think John Lennon was a little beyond stereotypical descriptions. Good is good. Up is up. Peace... is peace. Anybody can strive for these things, and anybody can reach them. He was probably an N but that's really the only thing I can believe.

Well, to break it down. He is definitely a P. He is definitely an NF. And I think think he is an I, not an E. He could put on the "act" of being an E but I don't see this as being the true person.

So, INFP.

Pretentious, annoying, and rebellious/revolutionary. I bet he is an INFP.

There was a link in another thread to a french typology site. They classified him as INTP. Weirdz0rz.

I would also note that using his music may not be the best way to figure his type. For he could be expressing in his music parts of himself not standardly in his behavior in everyday life. I also think art is inspirational, so his music could come from anywhere, not necessarily his type.

INFP 4 with a very strong 5 wing.

(Keep in mind that type doesn't actually exist.)

How can John be that type then?

I read that John Lennon was a five

http://www.ocean-moonshine.net/e142857369/index.php?module=pagemaster&PAGE_user_op=view_page&PAGE_id=8&MMN_position=32:32

wouldn't that make him an INTP?

If he were, it would make it likely, but not all 5s are INTPs.

Personally, I've allways said INFJ with my second guess being INFP.

INFJ - should have been a little more pessimistic to be an INTP

I've seen them as an INFJ/INFJ coupple, alternatively INFP/INFJ, but I can't really put my finger on why I pegged her as INFJ. Hm... perhaps she codl be INTJ as well... I guess I don't know enough about her.
