View Full Version : The one asshole in the world that needs cancer most...

doesn't have it (http://www.cnn.com/2007/POLITICS/07/23/bush.ap/index.html).
The 5 small polyps removed from our Colon in Chief have been tested and are, tragically, cancerless.
Does anyone else think it's weird that he had five polyps in his asshole? I mean, is that just normal for a 60 year old guy? If so, I'm taking up Xtreme sports immediately, unless being a vegetarian can save my ass.

Bush had temporarily transferred the powers of the presidency to Vice President Dick Cheney during his medical procedure Saturday morning, invoking the rarely invoked 25th Amendment. During the 31-minute procedure, Bush was sedated with a drug called propofol.
I wonder what Cheney did in those 31 minutes...

he spent his morning at home, reading
Cheney may be the devil incarnate, but the man has a style of his own. he was the most powerful man in the world and he just kept reading... I suppose he's already had 7 years to get used to being the most powerful man in the world, though.
edit: oh yeah, here's some more obligatory jokes:
"damn, that's 5 more republican voters"
"good to hear the brain surgery was successful"
"he probably just sat on one of his legos"
etc (i made none of these up)

Oh if he had cancer we'd just have to pay for it.
Don't worry in a short while there will be some other moron in his place, then everything will be better!

I feel bad for his doctors. Not only do they get shit on by the guy for 7 years, they have to stare at his ass hole on top of it.

At least there won't be some sort of ludicrous outpouring of sympathy towards the Republican party since there's nothing wrong with him.

as a neocon don't you recognize the ethical validity of suffering for the greater good? "just war" and all that? or, is suffering only ethical if it's done by the non-rich, non-whites?

The one that runs the world, of course - the CORPORATE branch. Cheney is through w/being modest. The legislature and the executive, well, that's - small potatoes - it's like being a mere crew captain, taking orders from the don. Cheney wants to be the don - won't happen. His career will end on 20 January 2009 when the next stooge takes his/her oath of office as President of the United States.

The Fourth Dimension. His is all branches or no branch, depending on whether you're talking about power or responsibility.
Becoming President would be a step down from that kind of gig.

Usually we end up on opposite sides of political discussion, booya... but this time I would agree with you. The topic's a little humorous because of the body parts involved, but I wouldn't wish cancer on my worst enemy. I've already seen enough people ravaged by and then die from it. It really sucks.

If so, I'm taking up Xtreme sports immediately, unless being a vegetarian can save my ass.yes, it's very common. The older you get the more the wretched little human frame becomes riddled with mysterious growths and polyps. IOW, deep down there's a little polyp in everyone's colon.

Of course not. Suffering is only ethical if it satisfies someone's desire for vengence.
And thanks joft. You just made my INTPc day with this comically serious post that shows your sense of humour. I mean, you're not being serious in this thread, are you?

i made the thread for comical reasons, but i would be glad if it came true. it's a passive-aggressive joke. he really does anger me quite a bit, simply because i spend too much time thinking about it all instead of watching American Idol. but i would much rather he face criminal charges and hopefully execution than cancer, simply to send a message to future would-be dictators. why can't a group of senators conspire and assassinate him? why won't one of his personal SS guards get fed up and turn on him? god damnit.

i wasn't aware. but i suppose being a secular liberal atheist--who also happens to be somewhat mathematically and scientifically literate--in a country like America.. well, don't you think it would be hard to not be elitist?
what does that have to do with my desire to not be governed against my will by a mixture of brazenly incompetent religious grade C graduates of Jerry Falwell's law school and machiavellian military-industrial-share-holding carlyle group puppetmaster overlords?

exactly. I get angry at liberals from time to time, but I'd be the first to admit that it's not remotely constructive, and I'd never let it cloud my judgment to the point where I'm stewing over it and wishing physical harm on someone just because they disagree with me.

Ha, very well done, my dear. For a moment there even I thought you might be capable of rational, perhaps even caring, thought. I'm afraid its too late though.
These liberals here have already grasped just how EEEEEVILLL we and what we stand for are. Hmmm, I wonder, is there an internet forum where the ignorant poor are contained? Perhaps we could both venture to such a place for a little bit of corrupting and exploiting?

I support capital punishment in cases that I think would create a disincentive against murder for society on a domestic level, or prevent death and chaos on an international level. But I don't get any moral/emotional satisfaction out of anyone's physical harm. I see it in terms of costs.

This is about revenge, not punishment or deterrence. I am against the death penalty and I don't think the government should be able to kill its citizens. But if I see someone as having harmed many many innocent people, and they just so happen to run into a health problem or some other physical harm, it's hard for me to not take a bit of pleasure in it.
But I don't get any moral/emotional satisfaction out of anyone's physical harm.
Hm, I do. In very rare cases though.
