I think that stylistically it is very sound, with good attention to detail and scene setting! I used to be a book editor, and I can fairly say that this is much better quality than most of the stuff that got published! Some of it is a bit cliche, by which I mean predictable. No surprises. But psychological thrillers are not my thing these days... I can't even seem to watch dramatic movies these days, sigh.

I think that INTP writing strength is more humorous fiction or non-fiction. (My first writing stab was something totally dark too.)

It reads a bit like a movie in a way... or a graphic novel. I don't know why it reminds me of a Strangers in Paradise comic, but it does.
