Have any of you heard or have experience of this language, it was mentioned in yesterday's London Times?

I am unsure of the value of using "simple language" as a therapy for depression.
Don't child behaviourists discourage parents from using "baby language" when talking with, or should that be to, babies and toddlers etc.?
