Ok, well at least you can say I listen...
Firstly a trawl turned up Mr Buffalo and the calf, not cut off :). For Boneca. Better?
Edit : This looked a little terse - wasnt meant to be - enjoyed taking a critical eye on the photos and looking back through them.

Secondly, the rockies (both canadian and american as this is right on the border between Glacier and Waterton Lakes. For Deepsky
This is Swiftcurrent Lake. Fab colours and a very cold spot (at least it was in September!)

Next, the nearest castle of any size to where I live. This is Corfe, destroyed in the English Civil War, it is originally Norman and long since tumbled down. Brooding on a cloudy day ;). For Clara

And for Synchronous, a wapiti with less foreground/background. Not as good to my eye, but it is calling out (autumn rutting) so wouldnt stand still...

Waterton is so pretty. The Prince of Wales Hotel is one of the nicest pictures in the Rockies.

Yeah, I suspect it would have been for me, if it hadnt been raining torrents at the time! I think I brought the British weather with me...

Aw, thank you! In this photo, the focus is more on the calf than the adult cow, which gives it a different "feel". And the calf IS cute. :-)
I guess my problem is that I'm more interested in animals than photography...

Yes the youngsters are sweet, if you look you'll see they even have the 'beard' at that young age.

Thanks Geoff! You are right, the first one posted was a sharper image. Regardless, nice pose...
