This is a little gem that i found over at socionics.com
I rarely see such personal vitriol coming from anyone apparently attempting to inform with objectivity.
"Finally, INTps have this very special relationship with Socionics. They are like plague, eating its very foundation. They are like ever growing tumour that turns once solid and sound principals into a formless jelly. Just like a bunch of angry termites on rampage, they feed on anything structural, bearing clarity and simplicity... by turning it to dust.
That's all folks, it's a dissection time! "

It's not that simple.

yeah in Socionics INTPs are INTJs and vice versa.
I couldnt agree more with what they are saying here. Lets be honest.

Well, I wouldn't say INTPs are like "angry termites" attempting to debase a foundation necessarily.
If anything, I believe they will shake it up to see if it holds.

Yes...that's definitely an assessment geared towards a more traditional INTJ.
We love clarity and simplicity..especially when found in formless jelly. (Which, not to be annoying, is an impossible statement. Simply because something defies immediate assignment, it does not become formless. "Formless" is fundamentally impossible.)

No, INTJs are
The types are switched when translating from MBTI to Socionics.
Here is the parallel quote relating to INTPs(socionics INTJ):
Finally, if you hear a sarcastic remark from an INTj you should know you are on dangerous ground, i.e. you said something stupid. To continue in the same direction would be unwise. However, if you want to enrage an INTj, all you need to do is to make the same stupid remark over and over again, but more importantly you have to stand by your words, i.e. show that you really mean it... Why would anyone want to do that?

Isn't that particular description supposed to be insulting? I personally found it kind of funny.

Good call. That is really annoying.

I think the article reads more like a Feeler wrote it. Maybe the person who wrote it had his feelings hurt by an INTJ.

My bad, it was supposed to be insulting. and it that vein, its actually quite funny.
I was thrown off though, because when I read the other descriptions I didn't get the "warning" about it being insulting.

the holistic description isn't insulting. I've read this before and it serves actually as a joke. It's hinting at your inquisitive nature.
For the Socionics facsimile of this type, see Intuitive Logical Introvert.
For the Myers-Briggs and Keirsey Temperament Sorter facsimile off this type, see INTP.
This confuses many people

I'd like to reduce it to Jelly, fuck the jelly, eat the jelly, shit it out and fuck the shit.
I took their test and came out INTj. I don't see much harm in the sites descriptions to be honest, it is just as horrible about all types and is clearly meant in jest.
What I did find a bit odd was the physical descriptions, I doubt that body shape corresponds with personality.

There could be a correlation however between personality type and eating habits. I've noticed on occasion, that a particular personality type will have problems with self-control in regards to food.

On the Socionics test I come out as INTP.........
..........but what flipped my lid was the idea that an ESFP was the INTP's partner. At this point Socionics flamed out, so I got out.

The ESTJs do not have the verbal command requested to have written "this" or anything else of that nature.

The arithmetic perhaps is the only discipline where INTps cannot use their powers of ambiguity. 2 + 2 = 4 will always remain true, although it is not inconceivable to assume that at some point an INTp was contemplating a different result.
2 inches plus 2 feet does not equal 4. Take that :P Sorry, I couldn't just let it lie there.
EDIT: Wow, that was really lame.

Perhaps it really does mean INTP because it can't accurately describe this group, and because we vary so much from the norm, and because socionics has a real hard time to work for us.

Socionics doesn't "work" for you, or anyone else here for that matter, because you know nothing of Socionics.

Socionics is an even greater pile of nonsense than MBTI. But I'd have to admit these 'uncovered' articles are hilarious.

Socionics is a joke. They talk about the types and how they freaking look. It says that all ENTPs are tall and stretched looking. Bullshit. If that doesn't turn you away from socionics instantly, try this. My brother and I both are short motherfuckers. Both ENTPs. We're also stocky.
