multiple selection polls

I was thinking it would be pretty cool to have the option to make a poll where multiple votes were allowed. I realize some polls are best when only one choice can be selected, but there are many polls that more than one option is fitting. Especially those polls that are asking people about things they own, favorites of something, or what underwear they wear :P, when more than one option would be equally fitting. Of course, it would be best if both ways were still available or there was a custom vote limit for each poll.

I checked out the mod section in the official phpbb forum and although it looks like a lot of other people are interested in this, nobody has made a mod for it yet. I was wondering how hard this could be to implement and if anyone else thinks it's a good idea?

mmmm.. thinking about it. doesn't sound hard but would need to take a look at how polls are currently handled.
