View Full Version : Crazy Women at INTPc
Hustler
9 Oct 2007, 05:18 AM
Why the hell does INTPc attract so many crazy women? I find their logic to be non-existent, their posts to be unreadable, and their personalities to be repellant, if decipherable at all. Is it simply because crazy women are less threatening/aggravating than crazy men, and so the crazy women get to stay around while the crazy men are all banned (not that one or two haven't slipped through the cracks)? Or is there some other phenomenon at work? I'm not talking about most of our women posters, of course, just that slightly-too-large population of bona-fide loonies. You know who I'm talking about.
Has anyone else noticed this? Does anyone else wonder wtf is going on? Why are they here and what do they get out of crazying up the place? And why are some of them on the crazy warpath 24/7?

The overly aggressive/hostile crazies get banned. I don't keep a tally, but I expect a majority of those are male.

There are far more many crazy dudes @ INTPC than there are crazy women.
However, there does seem to be a large number of females frequenting this site who nurture a grotesque vanity complex. No, I won't name names. :)

The Great Hustler is condescending to ask us a question for which he has not the answer? Is this genuine, or a ruse of some sort? It has to be the latter for we are all well aware of his supreme ability to know everything. Thus, given the disingenuousness of the premise to begin with, one would think he would, at the very least, state specific names, so as not to cower in a false, knowing anonymity. Which of course serves his turn magnificiently - how can one even demur the possibility of 'craziness' if the target is not named. Have the thing out Hustler, if you really feel there is an genuine issue here. Unless, of course, this is just an attempt to malign unpopular members with sly gibes and smug superiority (perish the thought). And how odd of you to have elided the duty, becoming of a man of your intellectual stature, to consider that there the words as stated do not have full meaning, that they are indeed purposefully ironic, even at a synoptic level. But, who am I to question.
And, for what it is worth, I'm quite convinced I can name at least as many unhinged male posters here. Ever glimpsed into purgatory?
I like crazy people, if more people were less 'normal' (not that there is such a thing) the world would be a better place as far as I am concerned.

People spoke their minds, some laughs were had, Lateralus made a fool of himself and probably got an infraction (and then got owned), then Brendan owned himself with his antics in the Feedbacks and Notifications forum. All on account of an innocuous little thread in the INTP-only forum!
But, most of all, it's a lessen to us all that non-INTPs really shouldn't concern themselves with what goes on in this particular forum. We can handle it; you all clearly cannot, what with your juvenile, emotional responses to the INTP sense of humor.
And to the crazy women who have actually unwittingly posted in this thread: thanks for the lulz.

I'm sure that's just a windowpane. Any picture on it is purely coincidental.
 I'm not surprised at all I've made another female jealous...I'm pretty fuckin' awesome.

Ask one of the ovary experts.

Lol. Are going to fight and pull each others' weaves on the Maury Povich Show? Is it going to be one of the 'Geek to Chic: You Hated Me in High School, but Now I'm All That' shows, or the 'Don't You Be Stealin' My Man!' shows?
On a less sarcastic note, I cannot stand it when neutral or negative opinions of a woman are automatically translated as jealousy. FFS.

What do you want me to say? Was there a purpose in repeating that you think I'm crazy a second time? Seriously, I'm starting to wonder if some of you are getting bored because it's been fairly quiet and are looking to lynch someone.
Anyway, It's not remarkable you or anyone else would assume I'm crazy. Look at my username, some of my posts and half of my avatars. However, if you figure it's a weak spot and I'm going to be offended, that's not going to happen.
Granted, I have strong opinions about certain things. I don't see what's so wrong with that. If you (or anyone, really) don't like or appreciate my posts, you're welcome to put me on ignore...let me know and I'll keep my distance.

About certain things, yeah, but your trolling/baiting probably doesn't help.

Well! Hmph! Apparently I am not qualified to talk about craziness or sensitivity on the internet. I guess will just go sit in the corner. You can go talk to chemist!

Reality check, people. You guys should hope all new members were as cool as Zelda. She may find less humor in gender bashing - and I suppose that in this forum that would make her "rough around the edges" - but she makes a good contribution to discussions and she doesn't like non-INTP bullshit. IMO you should find someone else to complain about, like maybe one of the Mafia. kthx.

Yah that's why I've taken a liking to her.
