vote in the poll above so we can set a default style for ppl who will lurk the forum. the codingforums style isn't an option since there is no 'conflict' with that board.

I dislike 5 the least. (btw, is there any way I can get my color scheme back now that it's been changed by clicking on those links? and since I can't access cp anymore)

we had been using the vbulletin default style since we switched to vbulletin. anyway, choice is nice sometimes.

there _should_ be a pulldown menu on the bottom left [scroll down and look to the far left for it].

I forgot to thank you guys for so passively aggressively dismissing me . "let's just not allow her to access the control panel anymore to play with color schemes and secretly pick up the next available help that comes along." (though not entirely secret since zedo told me what you guys said)

that was my decision not anyone elses. pm me about it if you want to discuss it further.
5 sucks, 7 is super duper and I am ver excited about it. Even though I had no hand in it.

I never got access to the control panel.. I used "Edit CSS" in firefox and sent it to fc and then he did whatever he does.

it's too bad, because I think truth belongs out in the open.
This is why we need a complaints forum.

You are right, but that's because there's been alot of noise.
If your desire is to make a style sheet, make one. It doesn't require control panel access.
I'm not about to play this game again.

Well, that is quite rude.
I further anothers suggestion, in the suggestion box area and get kicked in the balls for it. Nice.

I drew a nice logo up (and some "ok" ones), and proceeded to get a line on some good graphics software to make the logo presentable, when suddenly my computer crashed, and now I'm using one far too old for the software.
When I'm up and running again, it won't be long.

white one is the least garish, but it could use some contrast.

I am not going to be a nazi-webmaster for the next 2 seconds.....1.....2....ok, now I am.
No offense or anything, but hard RGB (last theme, my god the blue is just awful) just makes my eyes cry, I still like the default style the best....If you are going to go with the oranges/reds, try to complement it with grays and not a lot of orange-pink, unless you were going for that....personally I think the only things the forum needs now is a logo and a bit of gray to not make the white seem so prominent, or perhaps even think green, and for the last theme, make it lighter or just more of a dull-blue, those are just my suggestions of course....

I like it and made it this way on purpose. I will make a brublu lite++ for the wimps.. :P
Tommorow though...
edit: Don't go nazi yet. I've never done a style sheet until today. This is only hour 8! Just be patient, I promise there will be something you like.. eventually. And the forum borum default? It once scared me off for over a month.
"Nooooo not the forum default!??!! "
I mean, can it be any worse than it was? Yes, I even prefer booya's experimental template over the default. Reminded me of sex a little bit.

Dark schemes feel too drab and seedy; they seem unfitting for an INTP forum. And a lot of the little images have jagged light colored edges which look like ass on a dark background.

I wont expect anyone to choose mine, that particular one was just an experiment.

For the record, I think I'll give the proxy for my opinion on this to garak ( can we do that, and... is that ok with you, garak ? Otherwise - I would just wait to see what he thought, and agree... FWIW, as an observation on how we use software stuff -)

to answer Utopmk's question..
An idea for one I had was like my "newstyle", but instead of shades of orange, shades of turquoise.....and instead of the light purple-ish colors, green....but still a little yellow (though maybe lighter) and on a neutral, non-dark background. Do one like that. Or else I'll d/l firefox and do it myself.

I reccomend that you search around on google and grab a vbulletin style sheet and just copy and paste into the editor and modify the colors. That seems to be the most effecient way. (by this i mean finding one that atleast barely resembles your vision)
edit: Clara, It is impossible to read your posts (not just this one) when in a haste, as your style of english requires alot patience to understand. Ever considered being a philosopher?

A fair amount of white, and two or three pleasing colors to accompany it.

Oh well? It looks ugly. The simple solution is to use light colors for the areas that contain those images.
9 is pretty good.

Oh woah, this is only a vote for the default style! I can change mine, awesome.
I don't really care what you decide, in that case. :P
Although, those little blue arrow button things look like crap in b1... Any chance I could get access to whatever it is that controls this stuff?
nevermind actually. I only give a crap when I'm thinking about it, but once I leave this thread I pretty much forget all about it.

I like b1.
But it could use some black bars to break up the page and help divide things up visually.

expx is great. If only certain parts that appear white/off white could turn into a more bluegreyish colour, it would be perfect. :)
Almost all of them are great, but this one clicks.
(Hm, the smilies look kind of weird on that too, but that's just me nitpicking now. Heheh)
