Alrighty then, maybe not the best place to post this, but this was my first impulse.

Sometimes I come across someone here with an excessively high post count, and I think where in the world did this person come from, and how did I miss it? It's happened at least twice this week that I "suddenly" noticed someone with more than 2k posts.

Really, how did this happen? And where have all the flowers gone?

Every once in a while I come across someone from '04 with less than a thousand posts.

WTF? Do they have a life or something? Think they are better than us?

Shit, that's what I've been doing wrong all these years. I've supposed to have gotten a life.

I got tired of reading people arguing about things even they don't care about. And I know you were joking, but I think that's kind of the impression extraverted people have of introverted people.

Edit: By the way, were you the guy with the Darth Vader avatar?

I'm sure it took me over two years to reach 1000. Prolly closer to three. Never did get my naming thread under bylaws of the old forumer -- but I'm not bitter. <sniff>

I couldn't figure it out for the longest. I think you have to take a position that meets a lot of challenge and then your post count goes up as you explain, or try to explain, your position. I'm sure not everyone agrees with me but for whatever reason I just provoke a "psss, whatever" response and people move on to the next thread.

Other people I think either go looking for a fight or try to rehash some argument they've had somewhere else here, as if to prove themselves right internally or something.

There are other reasons, I'm sure, but plenty of fast risers I've seen w/more than a dozen posts per thread. Sometimes you don't notice it right off but I think it happens quite a bit.
