Quite funny that the BBC is reporting this.
Undoubtedly, the dog was doing us all a favor.

Quite funny that the BBC is reporting this.
Not surprising, this kind of story reinforces the prejudices that they and their target audience likely hold, making them feel better about themselves and dismissive of contrary opinions. Its a common tactic from media outlets with dominant ideological agendas (think of "the grapevine" from Special Report at Fox News).

I find the trends amusing.

I feel a bit sorry for the first guy. He was doing things fairly correctly. The second guy is just an idiot.

Yeah, sounds about like what would have happened if these events had happened in Texas.
Bed that tire is glad it was in liberal Washington.

I've lost count of the amount of times that I've defended the BBC against redneck southerners, both in real life and online.
The ideological agenda would be unbiased reporting, if that makes the local populous look like a bunch of inbreds then so be it, there's not nearly the same level of pussy footing around a story, that may even make your own leaders or nation look stupid that you find here in the states with the big network (read as "big corporate") sponsored news channels.
They often portray the UK as a bunch of lager louts that do nothing but drink, fuck, go to spain on vacation and fuck, go to soccer matches in eurpoe, fight, get arrested and go back to work at the factory on monday.
Once you can get past the fact that if that's what is happening in the news when it's unfiltered, then you might stand a chance of reaching a point where you can even look at your home objectively.
Until that time comes, most will just keep up with the other sheep in the Christian kingdom of the American south and keep the channel on the "fair and balanced" Fox network of Rupert, [cock sucking backward thinking Conservative] Murdoch.
The BBC is taking feeds from and even setting up reporting from foreign nations now. Seeing them on BBC America, launching a native broadcast newsdesk really made my day.
Now if we're talking subjectivity of choice in the reported story, as our bale of recombinated sheep grind to chew on, then it has been accused, but never proven in the past. Only subjective opinion being reported has been upheld as complaints.

The BBC's own reporters and internal investigators seem to disagree with your assessment. Anyways, I get my news from various sources, all of which I assume to have some agenda and which should therefore be compared to opposing sources. This process has not improved my trust regarding the BBC.
