back when I had mentioned about starting up a new INTP forum domain, I had emailed the owner of the domain intp.org....
Hi Clayton, good to hear from you and see your energy,
intp.org is indeed stagnant, and perhaps always has been.
True to type it's difficult to let go but, before you
create another domain name, I'd like some time to consider
your request because I like the idea of gathering the tribes.
I'm starting a long needed vacation soon, perhaps we can
chat on the phone when we have a chance.
Dan
I ask to speak with him on the phone..
Clayton, How about Monday the 12th?
JFYI, one of my goals in retirement (still a few years away) was
to form a non-profit educational foundation w/ intp.org as its
website. I think that's fundamental to give it some persistence.
Until then, I have indeed been quite neglecting it.
Dan
He didn't want to give up intp.org domain which was understable so I told him I would register intpcentral.com until he had made further steps with setting up a non-profit organization.
Thanks Clayton, that sounds good. I appreciate your decisiveness,
given my lack of it. I'll be in touch. I very much enjoyed our chat too.
I sent him an email about a week ago to check out intpcentral.com
Clayton, thanks for the link. I had actually checked it
out soon after you put it up, and it's very well done.
...
I've been in touch with some lawyers at work who have given
me some referrals to local lawyers who can help me with
articles of incorporation. Perhaps we can create a forum
to discuss possible goals, voting structure, etc. of the
organization. I'll need a few weeks to come up with a straw
proposal.
...
Dan
I wish I could remember more of the conversation I had with him but essentially a non-profit would help INTP's and help INTP's understand themselves better among other things.
what are thoughts on this? intpcentral would probably be involved in intp.org and yeah, hopefully I can get him to post on here and he can better explain the goals.
