None of these shootings make sense, but a YWAM base? YWAMers are the most chill when it comes to "misunderstood youth." I have so many friends who screwed up their lives and YWAM totally took them in, no questions asked. One of my friends is a complete stoner, but he practically lives at the base where his girlfriend works. I don't get this one.

I can slightly empathize with the kids who snap at their High Schools. I've had a lot of the same emotions. I'm not going to kill people because of it, but yeah, High School sucks. Malls suck, too, and if you're really looking for press it's an easy target area. YWAM? Did he not like the hot chocolate they handed out? Were their happy, pierced and smiling faces too much to handle? Sure, they're an evangelistic-oriented organization, but from my experience they're some of the least dogmatic of the kind.

YWAM and an Amish school house... what the hell?

Police say the gunman killed two staff members early Sunday after being told he couldn't spend the night. I pulled this from here (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22176250/). I hadn't heard of it. Our church used to have this training facility designed to help people develop skills to find gainful employment. Some people who were under educated, chronically unemployed, some long-term homemakers who were wanting to enter the workforce. Anyway, they had to boot some guy who was a drug addict. He was rarely there and when he did show up fairly disruptive. He had plenty of issues he needed to get under control first. Generally, he'd leave on his own but when the message was relayed to him that he wouldn't be allowed to come back, he went ballistic and vandalized the church. He sent death threats. It was kinda spooky. Other people in the program didn't want him around. I'm not sure what happened after they hauled him in. I mean, I don't know what was his punishment by the law. I don't think he was committed. It just kinda faded away. I think they got him back on his meds. I wonder if this was a case of a manic depressive being turned away and then coming back in his rage. So it could've been a bake sale and possibly same results. Will have to see what comes out.
