God's Personality Type

Well what do ya think? I'm not much of a Bible reader... well not at all really, but I wonder what God's personality type is, according to the Bible and its sequels and such. I'd give a tentative guess as an ENFJ.

I can't believe this hasn't been brought up, or if it has I couldn't find it...

On the other hand, it requires some serious planning to create a universe, so perhaps ENTJ would be closer.

I think God's personality can be sumed up as multiple personality disorder. Think of it, all of the different religions that have different ideas of what God is. In some he is kind and forgiving and in others he is mean and spiteful. Infact in some God is male and in some female. So it seems God is actually either many God's working in concert or one God with multiple personality disorder.

To be clear, I am just teasing. For those that don't take criticism well.

Thanks. About the forum, I was thinking about putting this in People and Psychology but I doubt God counts as a person. As for entertainment, well I think God's followers are more amusing than Mr. G. himself.

Oh, I should have clarified. I was not trying to claim that schizophrenia=multiple personalities. I've got enough crazy people in my life that I've educated myself about such distinctions. (Crazy's a clinical term and all.)

It depends which God you're talking about.
The Christian or Jewish God fucking obviously cant fall under any one of the personality types since Christians believe we were made in his image and that he's perfect (aka: can make any kind of decision, think anything, do anything, makes decisions based on circumstances not on preferences), as opposed to the Roman or Greek gods, who each had different personalities and were flawed.

Ok, ok...if we're talking about Yahweh we'll need to look at the Bible to see his personality so let's do that:


Ex. 7:1, 14, 9:14-16, 10:1-2, 11:7

to give the Israelites something to talk about with their children;
to show that he makes a distinction between Israel and Egypt.

2KI 2:23-24 Forty-two children are mauled and killed, according to the will of God, for having jeered at a man of God.

LE 26:7-8 The Lord promises the Israelites that, if they are obedient, their enemies will "fall before your sword."

Let's see, he obviously needs to kill a lot of people to show he's the one true god. That's kind of egotistical and cruel.

I think God is somewhat ambivalent :HE/SHE/THEY,ETC... is all the 16 types and also none of them, because if God created all of us and he must(might?) have been created everything from 'Him/her/There,ETC...-self(/selves)'-so at the very beginning God created everything from God ,according to the Bible, HE is 'Alpha And Omega': the Beginning and the End-. Finally I could say that God does have Mbti(all16)types in himself and in the same time God doesn't have things like Mbti, cause he is Omniessence Unity, WHO DOESN'T NEED things like that. EnfJ? Fellow Intps Can we think of God as an average person to specify his type as EnFj? Ok, he is judgeing in the Old Testament but also careing and has great justice.
If God was an Entj, than what for the other 15 defined personality types exist anyway? Why should the Human Enfj type be so 'promoted' to be assigned to God?
