Good Website Ideas

I basically started a website with stocks investors as my target audience...
But later I turned it into this: www.ikireta.com
By changing my target audience to the general people I had generated quite some revenue in just 3-4 days... What I did was post answers in my website and link them to yahoo answers...
This formula worked quite well... But one of the cons of this idea was i had to work hard... becoz i had to generate the content

So I am looking for ideas where common user generates the website content, and I get to earn money...

Do you have any nice website ideas in your mind?

I was thinking... maybe creating a global scrapbook... where everyone freely post their thoughts for others to read... or maybe creating a web-clipboard, where people can post whatever ideas they have... much like a graphiti on walls

Just keep these things in mind:
-- the website must have content generated by common people
-- the website should have a good potential to earn money ;) after all thats the main thing...

Interesting someone who will actually carry out an idea...this is totally new to me....

I have come up with the simplest of ideas...

Basically a website in which people share their ideas for new products and even new websites. Basically we will scarp the idea of a "patent" or else do what CC has done for content and what GPL has done for software. But in this idea we could trade ideas...something much more important. Now of course this will will force some people to give out their ideas for free and also will create problems with copying existing patents....

The basic idea of such a thing would be to put people together who can make something work. There are thousands of engineers, doctors and other professionals on the internet why not harness some of them?

As for making money off this the simple way is of course advertising. But I think in the long term if it does become successful we could also sell the products for the inventors. Now in the short term that does not help and some other way of creating income becomes necessary.

I have also had ideas for modifying a forum system to better facilitate debate and discussion. I think you can systematize a lot of aspects of online discussion, like by outlining main points and automatically linking replies to those points.

The big problem is that I'm both inexperienced in programming and too lazy to actually finish anything...

Sex act name generator. We already have the Dirty Sanchez and the Rusty Trombone, so why not randomize and throw in some new terms. Then you have the Inappropriate Lopez or the Kansas City Skidmark. I'd program it myself but I'm too lazy.
