Naming threads

I decided NOT to post this in poor Geoff's naming thread and moved it to here. This post from MG was from that thread.

Mine took 2 days and 15 posts. The thread itself has more, but I picked mine after 15. Which incedentally was followed by 5 posts from CC.

Well, mine took 2 days, and I can't help it that 35 different people posted. I felt obliged to respond to them, less I seem impolite, and besides, am I so totally narcisstic, I wanted as much "fan mail" as I could possibly get. It was YOU who kept telling me to speed it up. So I did.

So put it in the playground. PLEEAAASEEE!!! I don't want to feel so rushed into my name. I DONT GIVE A DAMN ABOUT POSTS! :angry:


And I am only TOO happy that I'm past all of that crap. You'll notice my posts went up significantly AFTER the 1000 posts. I HATE this posting CRAP. It DRIVES ME UP THE WALL. :rant:

CCs naming thread was going for TWO days, got 170 responses and 1,899 views

EZ's naming thread was going for FIVE days, got 107 responses and 1,816 views

SONGBIRDS naming thread was going for EIGHT days got 162 responses and 1,583 views.

Don't accuse ME of hanging AROuND. I got NAMED FASTER THAN ANY of them!!!!

Edit: AND I reached 1000 posts, BEFORE my naming thread!

I said HOVERING around 17 or 18. I was talking to Melan about posts per day, which is what you were at when you got to 1000 posts. With that statistic in mind, I was talking about Zedo being at 20 posts per day when he got to 1000 posts and that because of that he may have gotten to 1000 posts in less time than you.

Since then you have gone up to 25 posts per day which is significantly higher than everyone else.

I don't care how many posts it took for everyone to get their nickname. I just thought the threads should be moved to the playground because people are increasing posts counts every time they say no to a nickname, which happens more and more.

Relax, take a deep breath and read it over before you get all pissed off.

Does any of it really matter? Most of the time people get their nickname, they're well past a thousand anyway...
