The lack of interest may indicate that almost nobody likes mandalas in this forum or just do not feel to answer to a thread like that. Ce la vie.
Shai Gar thanks that at least you were interested.
By the way, who should think that there should be(?) a rule that his/her thread is quite interesting. Do not misunderstand me. No harm. This can really happen in life. Ce la vie.:)

I've got a book on Mandalas, and am only mildly interested. I skimmed it, just to get a general idea of their purpose. I like a few of them for their art mostly.

I like them up to a point. They get old pretty quick to me.

Not really. This seems a bit like taking a piece of paper, folding it eight times, and then cutting pieces out of it. I never thought paper snowflakes were all that beautiful. This is complex but a bit meaningless at it because what creates the complex structure is not an artist but simple random luck and a stern maintaining of the existing structure.

Even though they're named after me, I don't care for them.

I think this is the most aesthetically pleasing one so far. The first green one is attractive too; reminds me of unripe citrus. Maybe I'm a reincarnated hippie.
