There's a big 3 day concert festival thingy just north of St. Cloud this coming weekend.
HALF-WAY JAM 2008, JULY 24-26 (http://www.halfwayjam.com/)
They've got a whole lot of bands playing, including The Smithereens, Grand Funk Railroad, Everclear, The Romantics, John Cafferty, and a bunch more.
It's Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and I'm thinking of going for one of the days (either Friday or Saturday). A single day pass is $39.
Anyway, it's always kinda weird going to a crowd thing like this by yourself, and I'd rather not do that. It'd be great if a couple more people around here were up for this. It'd be kind of an impromptu mini meet-up.
