Not sure if it was posted already; just wanting to help out. Apparently it caught spyware that was undetected by adaware, spybot, spysubtract and spywareblaster; I thought it may be handy.

microsoft antispyware = oxymoron?That's what I initially thought. However, ms antispyware did find some spyware that Ad Aware missed (which was my previous spyware remover) so I switched over. It seems to be doing a good job, but it wouldn't suprise me if it is turning a blind eye to spyware from the evil empire itself. I'm open to suggestions if someone has something better.

Not bad. MS found HalfLemon spyware, which Adaware and Spybot both missed. Thanks for the link. I wonder when (and how much) Microsoft will begin charging for it.

I'm assuming this is the Giant company's stuff ( which company they bought in order to control more of the computing experience ). So far I'm concurrently using a firewall, Firefox, the Firefox Adblock extension, AVG anti-virus, Ad-Aware, Spybot, Spywareblaster and a couple of other things: I doubt if my processor can take much more, particularly if it has to send a snapshot of my system to Redmond every hour...

With the firewallPro though, it seems to be just a trial version. I'm assuming you got a cracked version? I'm not leet enough for that. ;_;

I'm guessing too that Claverhouse would not find anything using the program but... then again I had mentioned, like the others, that it picks up on the spyware that others have missed. As for the microsoft-made spyware, i would hope that the other aforementioned programs would take care of them; if not we're pretty much screwed for using Microsoft systems to begin with, right?

I just plain never installed Windows after I built my computer. I was going to do so eventually, but I never got around to it (story of my life) and finally realized that if I did install it, I would almost never end up using it, so I decided to save my $200 (or whatever it is now).
