How many of you would like a direct link to the INFP site, where INFPs and INTPs could have a "joint" thread? Would that not be interesting? For example I can post what INFPs have had to say about INTPs here:

Then we could have a site to site thread without bombarding each others forumns. It would be a spot specifically for "cross-type" communication.

What do you all think? :D

Okay, this is a test. Will my comment show up on the INFP board?

i would post on your board but im afraid of hurting someone's feelings, i thought unhealthy infp 4s would be as narcissistically arrogant as moi, wtf

Okay, guys. I got the thread name wrong, so maybe nobody paid attention. This is a thread to go directly to the INFP site and talk to INFPs over there. Unfortunately, INFPs don't post as often. So what I thought I would do, is post over here, when there are enough posts over there, to get your attention.

What do you think INFPs are like? Do you know any INFPs, and what is the difference between INFPs and INTPs?

What would you like to say to the INFPs over there? :D

Don't be dismayed be thier low posts, though. They are not ignoring you. They just don't post as much.

Heh! Misuti is refering to the Evil INFP thread that someone (not me) posted over here. Would you guys like to share a topic, similar to this? They are commenting on Evil INFPs over here. Heh! Would you like to join in this topic, or some other topic? Is there anything you would like to say to INTPs?

This is the thread:

Care to comment?

I have an INFP friend. Basically, I like INFPs a lot. They're great to have around most of the time. Fun to talk to and a very bizarre sense of humor that I can relate to. I guess the only negative aspect of the personality is that they tend to read too much into what you say or do. I wouldn't ever intentionally offend my friend, but on occasion he has misinterpreted what I meant (this is particularly applicable to communication over the computer) and become upset. I'm not sure if this applies to all INTPs, but generally unless I am outright insulting you, I probably don't mean any ill feelings towards you.

But all in all, assuming all INFPs reflect my friend's behavior, they're incredibly understanding and I'm grateful to have them as friends. I definitely relate to them quite a bit.

I guess I could write more, but that's a fair overview...

just because we're talking through computers doesn't mean we aren't prone to introverted tendencies

Hmm.... yeah... huh....well....just giving it a try. Thought a cross type discussion would be interesting. Where you have a number of one type and the other, without one type "invading" the forum of the other. All of you INTPs who are concerned with that, wouldn't this be a neat way to have cross type discussions and not "infect" the other forums?

I see. I am investigating further, perhaps registration will occur and NT propaganda will be distributed.

Haa! Lord help this place if NF propaganda is distributed. We wouldn't want to convert all you "rational" NTs into mushy, feeling, wubby, NFs, ehh. Or would we?

O.K I just voted for it so I thought I should support it with a post. Not really sure what's going on as I couldn't find a link anywhere, but I'll just go with it. (hey I'm a NP)

One of my best friends growing up is an INFP and she struck me as someone that was a champion for causes she believed in and a champion for anything she ran across during the day that struck her fancy, not matter how fleeting.

In brief I'd describe them as passionate and warm but sometimes idealistic.
Implusive and creative, sometimes a little to cosmic for my liking but you get that.

I tend to think INTP have these web's of ideas that they weave together to form a theory. And I read a quote from an INFJ that said she felt like she was in a web of feelings where everytime someone had a strong emotion it vibrated and she felt it. Do INFP do stuff like that, over analyse feelings, or hypersensitive????????

I'm for the cross-type thing.

I've known some INFPs online and off, and generally like them, even though I may not always get them. Offline, there was a black belt in TKD who was an INFP 9, and I found her easy and interesting to talk to. And my little sister's borderline ENFP/INFP, probably 6w7 soc/sx. She and I got have always gotten along well, even though we're outwardly very different. There's an INFP 6w5 sp/soc on the Enneagram boards whom I seem to have quite a bit in common with. Then there are some INFP 9s and 4s. I find I don't get them as much as I get the 6s. The 4s are strange beasts to me, interesting to read but hard to communicate with sometimes. The 9s are cool, but I tend not to be on much of a wavelength with them, either.

I was introduced to the world of personality type message boards originally by an INFP probable 2w1, whom I totally don't get but seems to be a good person.

INFP's generally seem to be more focused on values, people, and relationships, and tend to be more attuned to things like emotional tones and intentions, than INTPs are. My approach to people tends to be quite indirect and distant, and I'm not that strongly aware of emotional tones.

I don't really have much to say to the INFPs at the moment.
