Holy fucking shit! Check this out:

"I have a big affinity for the human imagination," he says. "About a dozen years ago, my collection got so big that I said, 'It's time to build a room, a library, that would be about human imagination.'"

Walker's house was constructed specifically to accommodate his massive library.

More homes should have libraries but who the heck names their kid "Jay Walker?"

Wow.

I wonder if he actually reads all of that or only wanted the attention?

It is a beautiful collection if it is real. I've seen similar jewel-bound, handwritten books in the Abbey Library of St. Gallen. They bring me back to a time when words were precious and rare. Perhaps more thought was put into things then. I've always dreamt of a wall-shelf of leather-bound books.

I wonder who cleans the room though. Imagine having to dust all those books and shelves and objects. *faints*

He has a Tandy 102; he is a person of taste.

Read the link! OMG all he needs is a Lionel O-27 railway and Gemma Atterton as his librarian and he would never have a reason to leave.

I don't understand why so many of the comments on his site are so negative.
Sour grapes. Not like they'd donate all their money to the poor if they were as rich as this guy.
At least he's blowing it away on cool stuff, not, like, the same old thing every night, wine, women, etc.
