So, I was responding to the "Which book are you?" thread, and I finished the quiz, and plopped my meaty chunk of data designed to show the book and the text down into the reply box... and I hit submit.
What popped out was exactly what I had put in... a bunch of HTML. No picture, scads of tags, and it looked like it was miserable being exposed like that.
Anyway, when I went back and fixed the problem, by switching all of the standard <carrot> tags to our [bracket] tags, it worked fine. Looked like it was supposed to.
My question is this. Is there a way to make Vbulletin take either kind of tag correctly? Make it speak both accents or something.

generally html code is turned off on most forums....
if you scroll to the bottom there should be something that says 'Posting Rules' which says..

vB code is On
Smilies are On
[IMG] code is On
HTML code is Off

so the feature is disabled.. I guess...

Ah, and the stuff this interface uses might be that [IMG] code, then...
