"The study or collection of trivia is known as spermology, which literally means collection of seeds."
That's a wikipedia quote there.
Is there an ulterior motive? Subliminal messaging? Is the INTP male/female harem getting off the ground?
Nevermind..

Whats the colour of David Bowie's left eye?

Don't you have enough casino cash, fat cat/goat. I'm not going to put anything together until I get some approval from the ivory mod tower to award casino skrilla for correct answers.

The idea was: $25 K to award to the participants and $25 K to me for remembering the existence of the trivia contest.

I was wondering if any of you hard science types could send my a four or five ungoogleable (there must be a better word) math, physics or chemistry questions. I'm thinking either the evening of the 24th or all day (the day starts at noon, people) on the 25th PST for the game. Most likely the 25th.

Yay! I'll start writing it up and in a week or two will start a thread announcing the new contest. I liked PenguinHunter's plan of spreading the quiz out over several days -- it seemed to make things easier for him, and to give more people the opportunity to participate. I proctored a quiz once in one long go and it was way too much.

It worked ok, but mine was way too long. The first night was super active, but for the subsequent nights people already seemed a little trivia fatigued. You have to avoid a first night burnout somehow because there's just so much enthusiasm in that first round that it's unsustainable (or go for broke and blast trivia through the ceiling for an epic single day). . . 10-20 questions a day for a two or three days might be better. I'm not sure.

I did the one-day thing once and it was exhausting, as much as something like that can be. I'll aim for 25 questions a day for three days, but it could be more depending on how much material I can gather.
