American Beauty & Ghost Dog

Can anyone speak on the main characters. How would you identify their MBTI types ???

I think Lester Burnham is an INFP or an ISFP. And Ghost Dog might be an ISTP or an ISTJ ??
I am curious about the other characters, too.

I wonder if the types correspond to the real actors types. It can only make the charecters more reliable.

How about the movie Barton Fink? I really think he's INTP - so uncommon.

Well, the Socionics put Kevin Spacey in the ESFP group, but I have also read (I can't remember exactly were) that he is an ISTP. I don't have a clue 'bout the others :)

Ghost Dog (what a great movie): ISTJ

I'd also put Lester at ENTP. He seemed to like being around other people, just never had the chance. Also, being P seemed to be his natural state once he got the chance.

Ghost Dog - definitely a great movie. One of the greatest for me.

For some reason I think that Lester's primary function is Introverted. If I think a little deeper, I can see him as an INTJ, but I am not shure of the J.
I also think that he has a very good Sensing skills.

I'd say his connection to the samurai history and his willingness to die to protect the honour of his master makes him an SJ.

J for sure. He is so methodic in everything he does. I might be wrong about the S though. Super I. His best friend was guy he couldn't understand.

I was reffering to Lester Burnham in 'American Beauty'.

Ghost Dog - I also think he is an ISTJ (with a super I). I love his 'I'.

Ghost Dog: ISTJ definitely

Lester Burnham: INTP
The reasoning behind P would be that he lacks discipline and structure. He has the analytic ability to reach great heights, but he simply doesn't get anywhere. Instead, he opts for an advertising job for a magazine and later for an employee in a fast food chain. *NTJ's are usually competetive and eager to reach some form of external success, recognition, or any goals they have set for themselves. IMHO anyway.
Not a very convincing INTP since Kevin Spacey is ESFP...
I think Braton Fink is INTP, and he looks like one.

I agree with ghost dog being ISTJ. Though, I'm into samurai and stuff, and I would be plenty happy serving and dying for my master. With samurai I think there's more to it than type.

Ok, so we all agree on Ghost Dog.

But, let's focus on Lester.

1.He is definitely an Introvert.
2.What kind of iNtuition is the one that dominates: Ni or Ne ????
3.Good sensing skills, I think. To me it seems like Se.
4.P or J ???? I still think he is a P since he is open-minded and doesn't seem to want to organize and control other people (or anything else.)

Back me up with some analisys here folks :) .
