Hey,
I'm new to this site. Recently discovered the horrors and joys of INTPism. Can't say I've met one of my ilk before. Just seeing if anyone local is out there.
Thanks,
-Adam

Uhhhh yeah....there are a lot of bars and clubs here. What's your poison? There's a bar strip downtown (Granville St.) with probably 20 or so clubs/bars...and then a whole smattering in/around downtown. All of varying types/clientele/cost depending on your taste.
I'm not from Van and don't 'club' anymore (not that there was an extensive 'more' period of my life) but I can steer you/anyone in the right direction depending on what you're after.

I had some sleeze ball aquaintances that used to go up to vancouver on weekend bingers for prostitutes. Apparently they have high quality whores there, or so I've been told.

Ok, cool, thanks. I'm staying there for about five days, so I probably wouldn't visit anymore than three bars/clubs, if that. Beer is good, but I tend to prefer liquor. But I'll be on my own, so something which offers entertainment would be great, but also not too expensive. I've never been to a bar or club though, so I'm not sure if that combination is really possible.

I wish I was in Vancouver.
I hear that cold weather inspires heavy drinking.

Uytuun has to take you to a good dance club.

I wouldn't mind. I'm not at all opposed to the concept of dancing, although that might change depending on the outcome of the classes I'm about to start taking.

I've always enjoyed the camby on camby, pub type atmosphere with lots of young people, and visitors from around the world; fairly easy to meet some interesting drunk people. good price for beer there

I'm relatively close. It's like a four hour bus ride, depending on border traffic.

I've lived in Surrey for practically my whole life, and just recently moved to Burnaby.
