Get rid of the read receipts for PMs

Those damn popups are annoying!

And it's not so much about the read receipts as it is the dialog box, so if there's some way to just get that thing to stfu then that'd rock.

No. They should stay, but, you should be able to specify how many you send. For example, it should be possible to send 1000 read receipts along with one message.

It is the way of the future. You know it makes sense.

I don't really have a problem with the receipts, but I'm siding with garak on this. A check-box to control an automatic receipt reply could be something.

Also, could someone please tell me if it is possible to organize the PMs into folders. I noticed there is an option to create a folder(s), but no way of actually putting the old messages into them. Or, if there is, I have not yet figured it out.

Check the box on the right of the message(s) you want to move, go to the bottom of the page, you see the pull down menu with the option "move to folder". Hit the button that says "go". You should now see a pull down menu of the folders you've created. Select the folder and click "Move items".

Well it is easy to do, but not to explain.
