So, thread/post draft auto saves have been enabled, (at least for me).

Two questions;
1. Who has access to view the saved material?
2. You're saving PMs drafts too?

Serious Business: Is the "delete draft" box disabled for anyone else?

I recall it being different very recently.

EDIT: what the hell, now it's not doing it.

Actually, it was more likely a trial of a potentially ass saving feature, which only ended up being a pain in the ass.

I've lost tons of posts due to bullshit, but fuck dealing with old text once I've already posted it.

Oh, highlight.

I use a clickpad, so It's probably easier to do it manually.

I think Edit history is being saved on certain forums, for when asshats decide to go and change what they write before they were quoted, also, the Edit button disappears completely after a set amount of time.

Fuck draft saving. If you're worried about losing your drafts, copy and paste them into a word document. Draft saving just causes more headaches for an INTP who is constantly wavering on posting things.

I either post everything via the "quick reply" or I compose it in Word and copy it into a regular reply. This is true on every board I post on, everywhere. Lost too many hour+ compositions to stupid ass cookie timeouts.

I post mainly using quick reply these days, or type it first into notepad and paste it in. That circumvents the problem of posts lost/privacy concerns. I cannot do it when posting attachments, but that's not so bad.

On the minus side, it means I've memorized the shortcuts to quite a few smileys.
