March trivia night will be coming up in a few weeks, so I thought I'd throw out a few times/dates for people to vote on. I'll try and include a good selection of times that accommodate various timezones.
1.) Sucks for the Americas option: MidnightPST/8amGMT/7pmSydney on Sunday, March 8th (two hour initial release of questions, then the rest released after an eight hour break).
2.) Kind of Sucks for Australia and/or East Asia option: NoonPST/8pmGMT/7amSydney on Sunday, March 8th (all questions released over a four hour period).
3.) Sucks for Europe option: 8pmPST/4amGMT/3pmSydney on Saturday, March 7th (all questions released over a four hour period)
Personally, I think option two is the best, though it would mean that those in Australia and Asia would be playing on a Monday while at work. Then again, that particular situation didn't stop me... ;)

Just a note that the sucks for Americas option also sucks for Asia - it'd be in the late afternoon pm Monday (at work);
Same with sucks for Asia, because it'd be in the am Monday (4am for me).

Any chance Option 2 could be brought forward by 24 hours? 7am Sunday is fine. 7am Monday, meh (forums are blocked at my work).

It is 4am for me Sunday. But I suppose that's better than 4am Monday. :stupid:

Oops, I should rephrase that. All 3 options are ok for me, but only if Option 2 is moved forward by 24 hours. OMW said she preferred Option 2, so I was kinda more focussed on that one.

4am monday bad. :( But I guess if she's releasing questions in blocks that's better. I'd still rather prefer the weekend though, because I'd be at least able to stay up/wake up early.
Editing poll option: So make my choice any time on the weekends. :grin: I should show some enthusiasm since I see Jughead has clicked for all times!

See, it needs to be weekend for me too (though I will reiterate that last month the game started at 7am Monday local time for me and, well, I did okay). To be totally honest, I'd rather spend my Sunday on this than my Saturday since I'm going to have to be fully devoted to my computer for at least four or five hours during the game. If the game starts at noon on Saturday (local time), that completely kills my Saturday. Then again, if starting the game at noon on Sunday local time means that the people who want to play the most can't, then I guess that answers it, right?
If I make it 2pmPST/10pmGMT/9amSydney on Saturday (PST), would that make it better or worse for you aelan? You either get a few more hours of sleep (yay) or have to stay a few hours later (boo). bluebell, this would work better for you as well, right?

Yep, that works for me. Sorry about messing up your Saturday.
In conclusion: we should all move to a deserted island somewhere in the same damn timezone.

That works, I may just miss the first hour, but that's better than missing most of it. Thanks.

Eh, you're not messing anything up. I had unrealistic hopes to begin with. :grin:
Also, I'm glad to hear that the new proposed time works better for everyone (so far, anyway). Barring something coming up in my life (yeah right), that's most likely when the game will commence.
