i could just sit here awake all night listening to the same few songs over and over

anyone else listen to this band? actually, I'm trying to find other similar artists and music

I saw them when they came to Chicago five or six years ago, and I bought their first cd. They do a good job of building a kind of symphonic drone up and up and up. Sometimes you get the feeling that the build up has no real resolution though, which is my only reservation about them. There are a couple spin offs of the main group too, whose names I forget at the moment. The musical group's name was taken from a Japanese motorcycle gang's name. K

I love that kind of music. The only similar groups I can think of now are... Mogwai, A Silver Mount Zion (actually a subgroup if I recall right), and maybe Dirty Three...
