Before the game starts:
You should make two posts in the "roles" thread. One that says "I am mafia" and another that says "I am townie". This should only take up 2 minutes of your time...
When the game is about the start I will give you a rep comment for that thread (don't worry, a positive one) on the post that describes your role. Right before the game starts I'll ask a moderator to delete the thread, so you should memorize your role. I won't confirm or deny anything in a PM.
If there are any moderators or admins playing during the game they'll be given their role through PM.
During the game:
- Twice as many townies as there are mafia.
- If you'd prefer not to have a special role during the game but just be rolled for mafia/townie let me know in private, by PM before the game starts.
- Townies vote during the daytime, in public, on a poll. You only get one vote and it is final and unchangeable. You can, and probably should, state who you're going to vote for sooner but I won't accept votes in the thread.
- Mafia vote at night on a secret forum. I don't care how they do it or how they get me the result. They can organize their crime however they want.
- The game ends when one side is mathematically unable to win. This doesn't necesarily have to mean when the mafia are in the advantage: the doctor can even the odds (but unfortunately can't protect him/herself).
- I'll make a duplicate account on the forum which only the mafia get to use. They can use it to anonymously post in the game threads. Kind of like a "voice of the people" with the guarantee that no spectators or townies are going to be using.
- That's it. You're welcome to play however you like.
