Absolutely beautiful. (I think I see the lochness monster in that first one.)

have you compared notes or shared photoshooting stories with Geoff yet?

The third picture with the road is really good. This S road curve is a classic composition in photography.

No I haven't. I haven't been on the forum in over a year.

Thanks for all the comments.

The third pic is classic and beautiful and gives me a quick buzz. However, the second pic is the one that captures my mindseye and made me return for another look.

Which lake? where? If it was taken recently, I'm guessing it's the south since there are leaves on the trees.

Winding roads are no fun to drive at 15 mile per hour.

Winding roads are no fun to drive at 15 miles per hour. the solution is simple -- borrow or buy a ~500cc sportbike, and take them at ~50mph.http://forums.intpcentral.com/images/smilies/holy.gif

Actually, and probably less illegal (barely) would be to get a high-end pitbike (50cc 2stroke repli-racer) and knee drag your way through WIFO -- but, depending on the bike that could easily also be ~50mph http://forums.intpcentral.com/images/smilies/ng_shock.gif

not that I know anything about knee dragging, mind youhttp://forums.intpcentral.com/images/smilies/whistling.gif

oh yeah! the photos are nice.

Those are all very pretty, especially the one of the road. However, the contrast is kind of dull. Perhaps it could use some levels adjustment? Remember, you can (almost) never have too much contrast. Personally, I almost never post a photo to the net straight out of the camera. Other than that, it looks fine.

I took the liberty of... experimenting with the photo in Photoshop Elements and I came up with this. Please forgive me, I couldn't help myself!

Terribly sorry if I offended you. You can leave a critique of one of my photos if it would make you feel better.
