I guess this should go here, although pretty soon it will only be of antiquarian interest, since this dates back from the days of yore, where through the mist of time the peasants were using something called Windows 95. AD2000.

It is probable that these would work on my Win98SE setup, although my computer is in far too delicate a state to state altering stuff, so I've not used anything here. Downloaded some though incase the site disappears.

There's a lot more here than one first realises, with the links & all; but if anyone has a mediaeval state of mind ( yeah, the site's called medieval, but that's plain wrong ), they may care to browse.

Morgane's Medieval Downloads (http://www.fortunecity.com/meltingpot/cumberland/250/knightadv/DT/index.html)

All done by Bryde. A German I think.

If you click on the Themes, I particularly like RavensNight, Hamburg Germany ( not sure about Cemetery although like RavensNight it features Caspar Friedrich paintings ) and Walt's Knight: the latter is not a knight of course, but the armour of a French Cuirassier of the Nap period, possibly the best uniform ever invented.
But there are lots more: the more ghoulish ones aren't so attractive; but the dogs etc. are pretty.

Whether you can get them to work with XP or Longhorn will be a different matter.

And it might be as well to know they weigh about 1MB per theme. Haven't downloaded anything else.
