Another 150 posts dedicated to another songbird drama, awesome. This woman has made it clear that she is not interested in ending her pollution of the forums. After her banning she mentioned that she had a new account, to avoid the stigma attached to her original one -- great. But what does she do? She causes yet more drama. Can we please ban her IP?

banning ips for reasons of 'drama' is a bad idea in my opinion. any 'drama' should just be moved by the moderators to the appropriate forum (rants+raves) and those that wish to read it can go there.

personally i haven't read those recent threads and don't intend to because they don't interest me, just like alot of other things on this forum don't interest me..... just because a thread is made doesn't mean you have to read it..... i always liked the saying, "if you don't like what's on then change the channel"

so far, in my opinion, everyone who has gotten into arguments with songbird has literally been looking for the argument, case in point, i haven't, and so i've never gotten into such an argument

If the moderators could somehow guarantee that any drama would be quickly moved to R&R, that would be great, but I don't think they can.

The kicker with this thread is that she purposely masqueraded as someone else -- someone who could have been a worthwhile addition to the forum, if he had been real. But nope, just more songbird garbage.

The thing is, it isn't really productive "drama". It's just pointless crap wasting space, and it doesn't seem to be stopping.

Yes, you can ignore it. But it is dragging on and on and derailing unrelated threads. That is why everyone wants it to end.

EDIT: I'm not one to get annoyed by forum drama, but it does get boring after a while. You do whatever you have to do.

We've had plenty of potential 'worthwhile additions' who posted their greetings, got welcomed and were never seen again. Yeah, it is pointless, her going on and on. I liked SBs posts before she made a big deal about it.

To be fair, I have no problem with her when she's not in drama queen mode. But it seems like that is nearly 100% of the time nowadays.

Yeah I never really ever noticed her before all this. I guess we always were interested in different threads.

what about deleting SBs posts when they obviously are going to derail the threads
she is trolling
we could even have a "lion tamer" moderator put in place for this specific purpose

I'll say this.

I don't see much difference between her and Edwin Jefferson. For weeks now she has been trolling around looking for fights, and like Edwin, she invariably finds them and engages in them.

Banning her temporarily has had little effect on her attitude, like it would have with Edwin.

The only difference is that she hasn't attacked any of the mods/admins, which is probably a product of them not posting that often, where Edwin was out to attack them. As such, she hasn't done enough to them to warrant a ban, which shouldn't be how it works.
