Can't vote, too simplistic. A system as big as the US administration couldn't be turned around just like that even if no one were working against such change, and I doubt all the active forces are positive. So it's hard to say how much he is hampered by inertia and how much he is willingly going along.

He's working for the Planters Peanut and Count Chocula in a massive plot to overthrow Nabisco in an underhanded corporate scheme involving goblins and the Swine flu.

Then where's the goblins, huh? That theory is full of shit.

Goblins slink around at night trying to steal pirate treasure maps and during the day they go to Florida and sleep on the nude beaches near retirement homes. They're tricky, I caught one once. It kept yelling for me to let it out and cried about its grandchildren a lot. I let it go in a forest because it stopped moving around and started to smell worse than it already did.

I was sure he recently got hired for a government job.

Yeah, that's what I heard to. Full time job, 4-years contract, possibilities to renew and everything.

And he's most certainly a J, a P would freak out with the 4-years commitment.

Actually no, I prefer to idolize Ford without intimate knowledge of him to ruin it.

I must object to this word that started with a c. Yes, he must be a j, but I like him otherwise, but whoah! I am not committed in any way to what I said here, though. If what I say seems like nonsense to anyone, it probaly is, but most likely in a most sensible way, that is no more repeatable than other things that are not repeatable. I like Zen, though - except for those repeated parts. ps HOW CAn there be a last railway? That just seems silly to me.

All politicians work for special interests. The key question is whether the agendas of those special interests correlate with your own.

There are two big differences when it comes to where the GOp and Democrats get their money from: oil companies and the unions. The Dems get huge amounts of money from unions; the GOP gets none. The Dems also get far less money from oil companies than the GOP does. These two things mean that Obama will favor fairer working laws, and will make a much stronger effort to find a new energy source than the GOP would. Doesn't sound bad to me.

Nearly all the Minnesotans I have ever met are cool and now I know why. I welcome our new Sleestackish Overlords whether or not Obama is their pawn.

Agreed. Even though things are badly off track, there's only so much he can do. If he pushes too hard, people will likely start pushing back a lot harder. The reason why Bush got away with as much as he did is that most of it was away from the public sphere (or under the radar), but you can't really do that when it concerns social issues.

That said, it is possible that he's working for special agendas, but I don't see it as consistent with his personality.

OP, you live in England. Stop conspirisizing over all our US stuff.

Alternate question:

Who is the Royal Family working for?
1. The people
2. Their own stinking rich empire and the elite that can bolster their coffers
3. cake

OMG! This means Obama is a minion of Baphomet! (Jack Chick reference, too lazy to find a link).

The entire question is stupid; all interersts represent people, and every interest is a "special interest."

It doesn't matter where I live. I'm not patriotic anyway. Our royal family & government are the same, Americans like talking about American politics.

The question was based on the assumption that people would understand it...

“He who is firmly seated in authority soon learns to think security, and not progress, the highest lesson in statecraft” -James Russell Lowell

He's probably going about his own agenda, but surrounded by lots of people interested in security instead of this lip service.

So anyone who's working for the status quo are working together.

So out of curiosity, DO you think the Masons worship Baphomet?

Obama speaks and conveys an image for the people... however, the end result will indicate he worked for the special interests. Because.. well the president is a useless pawn, for the people behind him. Bill Clinton was replaced by Obama, while the team, or their protegees... and his psycho bitch (Hillary), remained.
