Perhaps these threads shouldn't be displayed on the main page.

A sound suggestion.
You think you are so smart.
You have to be a member to see it. (I just checked).
Let's not get into sub forums though.

Yay, extra fast implementation makes me happy. Pre-emptive is even better.

I'm gonna have to ask you to move these comments to the "Anti-Bitching Parlor" thread. These comments are way out of line here.
Gotta love the irony.

I have suggested to the mods/admins that we create a usergroup specifically for people that want to participate in that forum. so then people who weren't a part of the usergroup wouldn't need to see it. I'm not totally sure how the usergroup system works, so if that does happen, someone would have to PM a mod/admin to join or something else(I think vbulletin allows us to create "open usergroups" so you can join or leave at anytime.. ).

This I find ironic...

What's bad about the bitching forum is no one really does any real bitching. It reads like a bunch of grade school kids on a sleepover away from their parents using words like "fuck" and giggling cause they can get away with it.

sheesh. I'm away for a few days, and all hell's broke loose. What's with all the bitching going on? Is this some kind of group therapy exercize?

I suggest making an anti-purple13 thread, before *someone else* does

That would be too easy. I am my own worst enemy.

The cue ball's made of styrofoam,

"The billiard sharp who any one catches,
His doom's extremely hard--
He's made to dwell--
In a dungeon cell
On a spot that's always barred.
And there he plays extravagant matches
In fitless finger-stalls
On a cloth untrue
With a twisted cue
And elliptical billiard balls!"
- The Mikado, G&S
Different idea, same tone.

BTW... Do posts count in the Parlor? Just wondering if they should... especially if they get deleted or whatever...

No the posts don't count there. I would have reached 1000 long ago if they did.
Why would they count when they are removed weekly? Removed posts are always subtracted from postcount anyway.

But... are they not counted right then, or are they removed when the posts are?
Maybe a notice should be put in the sticky.

Yeah, remove them from the search. I'm not interested in any forum in which posting will NOT help my post count.
