I could imagine being ready to host the triviality...Next Sunday? Let's do that. July 12. Evening in the US.

Just a little announcement.

* Could you give that as GMT or something for those of us with timezone differences so we can calculate?

Let's say...5PM Eastern Daylight Time, July 12, The year of our Lord, 2009.

Your stepping us Super S? Can we expect convoluted MBTI type questions?

There will be cake at the end.

Breeds there a man, or woman, who would like to participate in the July Trivia Contest, Sunday, who will be unable to watch and hear YouTube videos on demand, at the time?

I have it in mind to include a section which would take advantage of this technological advance, yet I'm not dead-set on it.

* I won't be able to, but just carry on - I'll be at work so I doubt I could actively participate. =(

I don't think I'll be using video after all, fwiw.

Oh. I'll be at work too. Sunday evening US = Monday here.

I knew I should've created a time displacement device FIRST, instead of putting that off until after Trivia.

In any case, the schedule will allow for all questions to be posted by 6:30 EDT, so it's possible the game could be complete within two hours of start time.

Won't make any difference regardless of what time on Sunday evening. I had a mental blank when you first posted this thread, forgot about the timezone thing.

Sorry! Hopefully at least two members won't be at work, so the contest is full of suspense.

Here's an advance copy of the intro to the game, for your viewing pleasure. Subject to change, but it probably won't.

There will be fifty questions worth $500 each. Five new questions will be added to the OP every 10 minutes (Or as close to that as I can manage). Whether answers are "close enough" or not will be at my discretion. I will not say "Be more specific" or "Close." Only "Correct" or "Incorrect." But I may give hints if a question goes unanswered. In the event of a tie, I will ask one tiebreaker question open only to the contestants involved (If someone else answers it correctly, a new question will be asked).

Do not edit your posts under any circumstances--Post again! (You may not be able to edit, but if you are, don't!)

I've asked an admin to allow me to edit posts here tomorrow, so I can add questions to the OP during Trivia. However, being a student of human nature, I realize that may not happen.

In that event, be prepared for each new question block to be a new thread. I'll only do this if there's no EDIT button for me to use. Thank you for your time.

Okay, it appears I'm good to go for editing. We're in the pipe, five by five.

When the clock linked below says 4:59, it's almost time for trivia. :)

There will be ten categories, so if you don't like one, wait ten minutes for the next. See you there.

30 minutes to start time!

I probably won't have the time or wherewithal to tabulate scores continuously, but if anyone else would like to do so (hopefully accurately) and post them, that would be fine.

I will tabulate scores at the end, of course.

On a pic question would I be ruled out ( receive a "no" ) for not spelling out the full name of an artist ( just an initial and the last name, for example ) or for not giving the name of the pic itself ?

Yes

I don't know the title. I just found a nearly identical pic by Sorayama called "Skull Session #1" and so I made a guess.
