Sniglet; definition: Any word that should be in the dictionary, but isn't. For example...

"Festerence" - The embarrassing pause after someone makes a comment they thought would be funny and no one laughs.

What to do on an airplane when you find yourself seated next to a real jerk:

1. Take out your laptop.
2. Slowly open your laptop.
3. Turn it on.
4. Make certain your neighbor is watching.
5. Open your internet browser.
6. Close your eyes for a few moments, open them and then look up to the sky, or the heavens if you will.

But what is the "sniglet" for that ? The best I could come up with on such short notice was "Puzlim", although you're doing more scaring than puzzling.

Rich Hall wrote the book "Sniglets" and he's got an interesting new traveling act too, that incorporates music and comedy. He pretends to be a hillbilly ex-con or something like that called Otis Lee Crenshaw, IIRC.
