View Full Version : INTP Central: The quintessential circle jerk?

There seems to be an echo chamber effect at work in this forum that seems almost by default to push INTP's further into their respective modes of solitary thinking by imitating the idea of camraderie in the form of grouping together of a commonness of thinking.
isn't this inherently unhealthy?

If we agree with you, thus imitating the idea of camraderie in the form of grouping together of a commonness of thinking, is that bad?

(ps. Yes, please mail me a cookie. do I get a choice?)

Whenever one tramples outside of one's own line of thinking, be it linear, round, two-dimensional sources or three-dimensional ones, that is looking into a different viewpoint and outside of oneself which is an exercise in extroverting the perception and pulling some new and some similar thawts, isn't it ??

I'm not sure how that is the circle jerk as you say as I never have jumped into one. Haven't found the appropriate circle and doubt I have need of one. As far as having another poster sum up my thawts and not needing to say it over again. I find it sort of incredible and unique, as in it rarely happens otherwise. Comprende'?

People on a forum for those who share a specific not-so-common mbti type frequently find themselves in agreement with each other? Nonsense.

I'll have a coconut pecan cookie, please.

It could be, but I see INTPs here challenge each other's way of thinking all the time.

im sorry, let me be the INTP here and say this...

so what?

Its not whether the behavior is happening or not, rather, does i matter and do we care?

Do you know for certain this behavior is bad for an INTP?

Have there been any studies to determine the effect of INTP groups on the mental well being of an INTP?

How reclusive and isolated does an INTP become when with other like minded people as compared to those of other types?

You blame us here for having a sheep mentality and agreeing with each other, yet this behavior is expected from us in society, isn't this doing everyone a favor giving us a group we belong so we no longer disrupt the flow of other groups?

oh and of course

Not really. If I can't INT, I can always F them and if it doesn't work I can SJ them. Get it?

Good point, but is it impossible that OP was asking where that line to overanalyzation is drawn?

That is an awesome cat...!

That pic goes nicely with the South Park parody of Cochron

Why would a Wookiee, an eight-foot tall Wookiee, want to live on Endor, with a bunch of two-foot tall Ewoks? That does not make sense! But more important, you have to ask yourself: What does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense! Look at me. I'm a lawyer defending a major record company, and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca! Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense! None of this makes sense! And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberatin' and conjugatin' the Emancipation Proclamation, [approaches and softens] does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense! If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests.
