So what does it mean, to be a woman?

I am not sure. I think it has something to do with being all feeling and only being happy when your man is happy. Or maybe it means ditzy slut. But it could also mean burning bras and pantyhose. I just hope I don't get invited to a tupperware party.

Well, since this discussion has taken a decided turn toward relationships, I will answer that question. Sure, I'm happy when the One in my life is happy. That's part of being in love. Being accustomed to being around men, and knowing how they operate (read: generally function) helps make the relationship that much smoother. Nothing wrong with being femmy around other men, or not femmy, either. In a discussion I had with my beloved beau, this very subject came up, in fact. His response: "Doesn't matter where you work up an appetite, as long as you eat at home." Am I ok with this working up of appetites on his part? Seems to be working very well, so far. ;)
So to sum up, perhaps a bit possessive, but not the least bit jealous. Hopefully that wasn't too much intimacy to share right off...but I'm pretty sure we're mature enough to handle it. After all, we're not six years old, and we're certainly not in our tweens anymore, thank goodness.

Why is this funny? One serious relationship is all I can handle at a time! :)

Not what I was saying. I was thinking, "The One." I was laughing at that, whether or not it was what you were saying.

Maybe Streph is married to Keanu Reeves... :)

Keanu Reeves is very cute, and maybe it would be a nice daydream to be married to a celeb, but ultimately the lack of privacy would be too much for me. A nice thought, though. :)

Still not entirely sure what you're referring to--maybe this is some kind of Sx/Sp synergy? I'd love to know your thoughts--wow, this is really one of those moments when I wish I could pour a cup of tea for people online....

Strephonade, there's a rather famous movie trilogy entitled "The Matrix". Tends to be popular amoung nerdy INTx types. In the plot there was much ado about a mythical saviour known as "The One". This character was played by Keanu Reeves, hence my little joke intended to make the light bulb go on for you. I'm pretty sure that is what Paladin is chuckling about. I'm guessing you've never seen the movie(s). :o

I read a book by David Brin called "Glory Season." It is about a planet dominated (like 98%) by women. The book is not a simple "role reversal." It deals a lot with gender. I recommend it.

I've seen the movie, several times...ohh! Is this a reference to the movies thread from the other forum? Strange, but I didn't make the connection that way. I _was_ thinking of my kickass adoration of my kickass husband, but I still don't see why this devotion would be funny....
