Just in general....it was kind of strange to see your eye pic and thinking "that looks like Marchelle!" because she was a friend of mine from college and I haven't seen or heard from in her at least 15 years until a couple weeks ago. So you look like the college-age Marchelle. She must have crow's-feet by now!

How many other "masquerading" individuals do you think are on this board? Do you think you epitomize the description for an INTP?

Perhaps I'm simply a confused person who doesn't know my exact type yet and I'm having fun being myself, however twisted that may come off as to you since you're the resident INTP expert (although I could just be masquerading as an INFJ). Maybe I'm an INTP with a developed Fe? Who has also somehow managed to develop a semblance of J-ness.

I'm an INxx definitely. There, if that helps in creating more harmony on this board, let me know via PM from now on. Keep me updated on my progress, stuff like that.

Waxwing: There is something deep and sorrowful about the look of your eyes in the first pic you posted. Were you feeling sorrow at the time?
S: Your eyes are very attractive.
Shai Gar: I think you apply some kind of 'blur' overlay to your picture to make everything look more 'enchanted' but still retain its sharpness. That's how it looks anyways. No camera that i've every seen does that kind of effect. Its usually applied manually.

I've only ever even been _offered_ drugs once in my life (a little over a week ago at a concert,) never sampled, yet I frequently get accused of being stoned. :/

But I think that's mostly because I'm insomniatic enough that my eyes are frequently a little over-sensitive to light so I usually wear sunglasses even inside if I've had less than 5 hours. That or right after I've attempted to relate some theory I've been working on... *sigh*

does this refer to some century old scandinavian contention that i am not aware of??Nope. Many Finns have narrow eyes (me included, I'm half-finnish). In general the eyes in the nordic region tends to be dull blue or grey. The opposite to colorfull and sparkling. :)

But ofcourse it's fun to tease our neighbours.

I have brownish/grayish/greenish hazel eyes - more grayish towards the outside (with dark gray rims) and more light brown towards the inside. I wonder what genes code for that? They only know a specific set of genes genes for basic brown, blue, and green, last I'd heard. My older sister's eyes are light/medium brown and my younger sister's eyes are blue or blue-gray. Dad has brown eyes and mother has blue-gray. My family called my eyes "green" when I was growing up...sometimes they look that way, but oftentimes they look light brown. If you had to classify all eyes as brown, blue, or green based on that known gene set, they'd probably be brown.

hehe, quite a few affects. a couple layers, i think i desaturated a few colors from it and used a burn maybe, a bunch of lighting effect with the shadows/highlights to bring out the lighting and texture. some basic color manip using the hues. probably master shifted.

ok Pooja, I'm giving you some camera tips. If you are going to take the picture inside, set it down on something like a counter top or table and set the timer then get in front of it. If you can try and get some lighting shining on either side of your face or head on. It'd be even better to stand outside if you can. Then you can hold the camera provided you are getting enough sunlight on your face. When it's too dark, the shutter will stay open longer and you get a blurry effect as you hand moves slightly trying to hold it up.

Also, try not to use the flash if possible (not so much for you). It over exposes our reflective eyes and you can't really tell what they look like.

You could have been going for an artistic blur effect, and I'm a huge jerk, so disregard and hopefully someone else will use the tips.

Aha. I was thinking of Armenia, that's why I put in 'north-west' asia as a possibility. I can see alertness and intelligence in your expression but I can't go any further below the surface. I don't know why but when I look at someone from an unfamiliar country all I can read is the level of intelligence. Actually 'country' is not fitting nowadays, I go with ethnicity since countries today are more accepting of different races than in the past.

I think the thing that struck me most about the photos in this thread was the oddity. People would hold their eyes wide open or go for menacing glares or Photoshop them, anything to be weird.

I always thought this was an intriguing picture because of the reflection. Sorry so huge, but wanting to show detail. The reflected figure doesn't look a bit like the photographer, and I didn't modify with Photoshop, either. I'd be interested to know what others think the reflection looks like:

It looks like a hand holding a camera up in the air with a grassy area in the background.

looks like a hand clasping something or two couples kissing. One wearing dark clothes and the other wearing light ones - wedding? :p

Yep, that's exactly what I saw too. While the reflection is cool, I find it far from mysterious.

... Why do Ns look at the eyes so much?? ... It is amazing. My N friends have both stated how they can look into people's eyes and see a lot of their personality. One friend did this to a person he never met before (just by seeing a picture) and described her personality AND things she does.

Likewise, I also find eyes interesting. Just the other night, I just described my eye as an eclipse with the sun's corona being brown, in a teal-green sky.

Very quirky, full of personality. Funner, lighter-hearted it seems, compared to the rest. I like the way you work the camera, big boy. ;) (make love to the camera!)

Now, see here, sir MacGuffin... I'm counting on you! Can't you see that I'm in dire need of an immense dose of steamy MacGuffin lovin'? Only you can cure my perversely pervasive disease. Ahhh yeeeah.

Are your eyes gray-green? That's the color of Mrs. Woolf's eyes. I like the solar-eclipse ring around the pupils.

i think they're sort of blue-gray-green. I usually just say green because that's how they look when my pupils are dilated.

In good quality light, the eyes match the hair.

I wish there was better detail; I have a near-red ring around my pupils.
