Well I recently found out about the types and took the test. Scored INTP and about fell on the floor when I read the description. It is 99.5% accurate.
:hello:
It really knocked my socks off because, growing up, I really did feel like I was living with aliens. I related better to my teachers than fellow students and never had more than 1 or 2 friends.
Anyone else have a similar reaction?

However, welcome to the forums, and enjoy you stay. Hopefully it won't be too unpleasent.

Yeah, that was my reaction. I did the test for my career development class, and I printed out the description but I did not read it right away because I thought it was going to be another "you're Leeny from Final Fantasy Adventures, you have clouds in your head and your pet peve is bad-tasting food!" type of description. Then I read it and what caught my attention strongly was that it said INTP's are about 2% or so of the population. I felt uniquer than usual. ^_^

Hello Melody - and Allen and whomever. I just joined and don't know anything about this "forum". Will some one help me and I would also like to know if "chat" is available. I really would like to "talk" with a real person rather than send words off into the ether....:)

INTPs are .75% of the population, not 2%.
I never felt like I was among aliens, I felt I was among imbeciles.

My parents are both ENTPs, so I always felt like everyone but us were the aliens. My brother is an ISFJ, so I guess he's the one who feels amongst aliens.
Welcome btw.
P.S.- When I read the subject to this thread, I remembered the Simpsons and wanted to reply "Hi Dr. Nick!"...damn tv...>.<

haha! No its just a little financial club I run to help people get their start in investing (particularly real estate). I had help getting started so I am returning the favor.
I LOVE residual income - the kind that comes without direct effort - and that's why I do real estate and broker a great benefits package for people who are uninsured or underinsured. You can PM me for details.

lol I love residual income as well. I want to put a couple million bucks in the bank and move to Mexico, where I will live off the interest. I could probably help that country a lot by setting up a school or fifty. Or even niftier yet, a college that is free. ^_^
