Ways to avoid getting lost in the forum

I don't like reading the long threads of material that appear on this forum. Im sure other lazy INTP's like myself don't like to either. What if we had an audio file section where we could listen to the posts instead or read them...

Also, what about being able to download stuff to our palm pilots.

Furthermore, lets organize the polls. Lets have a polls section. I was looking at some yahoo list where they have that, and it works well.

Also, If you are familiar with nationstates.com, they only allow one IP addess per user. I think that we should incorporate that here to avoid crazy people creating confusion and chaos with different accounts.

Lastly, we should also require people to take the MBTI test before joining....just like in similarminds.com where you are told who is closest in personality to you.

Some of this stuff might avoid some of the problems we have been having. Also, I would like to avoid any malice by any non-INTP's that try to take advantage of us INTPs.

Just my 10cents. I apologize if this is obvious or has been considered before.

Read posts... you can get a program for that'll do that for you... I know it exists, because there's a blind kid on campus that has it.

Or you can copy/paste on a Mac and get that to do it. I know it comes with that as part of the main wordprocessing program...

I know...Im sorry for metioning the INTJ's...thats the only good thing about their site...ours is cooler....Im just think that we should put all the polls together in one spot.

Yes I did miss all of those events....I'll go search for the threads to learn about them though. I guess...I still feel kinda new to the whole forum thing. You guys seem to have established some level of frienship amongst each other. It takes a while to warm up and I am very introverted and Self Preservationist after all. Posting in this forum can be kinda embarrassing sometimes because its hard to open up.

Nah. It's not. Anyway, we're not that open, really. I'm surprised, though -- I thought you'd gotten comfortably settled in here a long time ago. Then again, every time I log in, there's at least one thing that surprises me to read it.

This has been suggested a number of times now, I think it might be time to do it, why dont you make a poll?

I am pretty sure you mean one user per IP. Most people have dynamic IP's and if two members live in the same area with the same ISP they will share an IP every now and then.

I think that a very large percentage of the members here have taken the test, I dont see how making it a requirement would change anything.

Dont worry about feeling new, I would bet that more members feel like you than those who feel like they belong. If you want to do something about that I would suggest finding a few members whose posts you like and quote them in threads, start conversations with them. Someones gotta break the ice.
