I apologize if I'm jumping the gun by posting so much. :D
I think it was briefly mentioned in the 'Religion' section a hypothetical scenario where people wore tags to display their types.
Which type do you think would end up being dicriminated against? (Obviously since culture differs a lot, we'll set this in the States).
Personally, I think INTPs would probably end up being the worst affected, since we're quite different from what the present-day culture values. Plus, we're rare, there wouldn't be much of a chance for comradeship.
What do you think?

no, I think most people would discriminate against the type that annoys them the most- there is a pattern to it somewhere, but anyway- that means just because of the percentages of the different types there would be less discrimination on the part on the INTPs than the oh, ESFJs. We would have that large group of people all not really liking us. As far as discrimination goes... I might welcome it :) ... "would you like to come to my candle party? ... oh.. wait you're an INTP, we don't allow those type of people to visit with us." I would be celebrating :D (a real life example- but with out the oh, no part... :[ I still have to go.)

I wouldn't mind it myself, but since there are so many more ESFJs than INTPs, then if all ESFJs hated us then we'd be kind of screwed ^^

I think the most discrimination would hit those would least fit societal stereotypes.
Male ENFP and INFP's would be in trouble. Female NT's and maybe xSTJ's would probably have a tough go of it as well.

I have an ESFJ friend. So not all ESFJ's would hate ya. But we have many differences but we have video games and movies in common. But I hate the music he listens to and that feeling is mutual.

candle party= sitting around sniffing candles at some person's house that you may or may not know (not in my case), with as many other people the person who invited you could come up with- friends of friends of friends etc. There is usually a lot of chit-chat about guys, clothes or whatever your age group is interested in- Guys don't seem to be so afflicted- feel lucky.

I would have to agree with some of the other responses, that it depends on the dominant culture that the type may find themselves in. NTs, NFs, and even SPs to a point, could be deemed heretics by the overall SJ world.
When you allude to present day culture, I am not sure whether you are meaning the Western culture in general, where being industrious is more important. In that case, I would say that all IPs are going to be looked down upon for lacking in constant production. IJs on the otherhand, can at least muster enough of their secondary function to get things done consistently.

Not sure, not too keen on American culture, or any culture for that matter. However, as most Western culture is SJ, with a preference for E. My view is that NP types would be the most discriminated against in general, with INTP as a focus.
However, I would love to emigrate to a culture that is more introverted. One of my friends tells me that Japan has a fairly introverted culture.

I don't know, I'd say extroverts would have to deal with discrimination the most, introverts being out of the social constructs that make up the categories to discriminate against.
